``We decided to remodel the kitchen and did all our ‘homework’. We got estimates from Lowes, Home Depot, and Express Kitchens. They sat us down in front of their computer and asked us for the kitchen measurements. One by one they put a cabinet here and there with their computer mouse. We were not very picky although we wanted a few things – all wood cabinets, soft close hinges, and a cabinet for the trash can. We got an estimate that ran between $11,000.00 and $14,000.00, and I remind you-that was just for the cabinets! I still had granite and tile to buy! Needless to say, I was in shock! My contractor suggested that I go to Barnum Tile and see Wayne. Wayne did not have all the modern computer programs but what he did have was experience! He actually drew out the kitchen on graph paper. He said it would be better to move our stove to another wall, and he put in the type of cabinets that would make the kitchen work better for me and be more pleasing to the eye. He can see the outcome of the kitchen before you start. I picked out the same cabinets-all wood and soft close hinges and the total was $8000.00. And that was for the same amount of cabinets as the other stores! Needless to say, I also got my tile floor and backsplash form Wayne as well. I made the best decision by walking into Barnum Tile and talking to Wayne! Do yourself a favor and save yourself a lot of aggravation… Go see Wayne``
